The Filipino joy and spirit of dedication resonated loud and clear at the "Paskong Pinoy" International Teachers' Meet and Greet welcoming 37 outstanding educators from the Philippines, bringing their math, science, English, and special education expertise to JPS classrooms.
With the collaboration of Career Studios Inc. and Jackson Public Schools' head office, the "Paskong Pinoy" International Teachers' Meet and Greet was a delight. It was a stunning showcase of the new teachers' talents and skills. From soulful renditions of beloved songs to heartfelt speeches, vivacious dances, and sumptuous food, the event was a sensory feast, immersing everyone in the rich tapestry of Filipino artistic and cultural expression.
More than just a cultural extravaganza, "Paskong Pinoy" was a heartwarming display of gratitude. These dedicated educators expressed their profound appreciation to Career Studios' First Batch of JPS Filipino Teachers and the Filipino-American Association of Mississippi for their much-needed support, and to Jackson Public Schools for the opportunity to contribute their academic expertise to help empower JPS future generations.
