Resume must have the following:

PERSONAL INFORMATION:
  • Most recent photo
  • Name, E-mail address
  • Total numbers of years of teaching experience
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
  • Highest Educational Attainment (specify your area of concentration)
  • Year graduated
  • Name of School, Country ( e.g., Cebu Normal University, Philippines)
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:
  • Start with the most current teaching position with inclusive years
    • Name of school
    • Subject
    • Grade levels you are teaching
CERTIFICATION:
  • PRC Teaching License (area of specialization)
  • Date obtained

TRAININGS ATTENDED:
  • At least 3 trainings or seminars attended (highlight the trainings directly related to the position you are applying for)
REFERENCES:
  • Provide 3 references
    • School Principal
    • Supervisors
    • Co-teachers
* Make sure to provide your references’ working e-mail address.
Submit the following documents as well:
  • Current Passport Biodata Page (passport must be good for at least 1-2 years)
  • Copy of your original TOR
  • Copy of your current teaching license
  • Good Standing Certificate
  • Foreign Credential Evaluation Report
  • NBI Clearance/ Fingerprinting (Background Check)

Initial Screening & Pre-Interview

Once your documents are received:

  • A career adviser reviews your credentials and verifies minimum qualifications.
  • You may be invited to an initial online interview to assess English proficiency, professional fit, and readiness for U.S. classrooms.

Make sure your internet setup, audio/video, and environment are suitable for a professional interview.

Step 3


Job Placement & School Interviews

We match you with U.S. school districts that have teaching vacancies appropriate for your expertise.

After submitting your application, you’ll receive:

  • Details on job openings
  • Direct contact from partnering schools for interview scheduling

Prepare for these interviews just like any professional teaching interview — research the school, understand its mission, and articulate how you will contribute.

Step 4


Offer of Employment

Once a U.S. school hires you:

  • You’ll receive a formal job offer and employment packet.
  • Sign and return the offer letter to the school to confirm your acceptance.
  • Provide a copy of the signed job offer to Career Studios to begin the H-1B petition process.

H-1B Visa Petition Preparation

USCIS Review & Approval

After submission:

  • USCIS reviews your H-1B petition.
  • You can track the status via the USCIS portal using your receipt number.
  • If selected and approved, USCIS issues an approval notice (Form I-797).

Once your petition is approved, you proceed to visa stamping appointments at a U.S. consulate or embassy if you are outside the U.S.

Arrival & Check-In

When your H-1B visa is issued:

  • Make travel arrangements to the U.S., ideally arriving before your H-1B start date.
  • Upon arrival, retain your documents and present them to immigration officials.
